Faith, Family & Sawdust

“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

A man in a black t-shirt and blue jeans is examining a large, live edge slab of wood in a woodworking shop. The man is wearing glasses and a navy cap, and there are other wood pieces and tools in the background.

Seven years ago, Butler Hardwood Lumber began as a simple dream and a whole lot of faith. What started with sawing fresh-cut live edge slabs has grown into a thriving, family run business specializing in kiln-dried hardwoods and unique exotic woods from around the world.

Through dedication, family support, and faith in God’s guidance, Scot was able to leave his full-time job and devote himself fully to the craft he loves. Each board we mill and every slab we prepare reflects the same principles that built this business — faith, family, and honest hard work.

At Butler Hardwood Lumber, we’re more than a lumber yard. We’re a family rooted in faith, proud to help others build something lasting.

Rooted in Faith. Grounded in Family. Built through hard work.
